An emergency situation is one where your safety is at risk. When you are in an accident, broken down in a location where you are not able to pull all the way off the roadway, or stranded on a dark highway where other vehicles are not likely to see you are examples of an emergency type of situation. These are times that you will want a roadside service provider to respond “As Soon As Possible”.

If you have roadside assistance coverage through your insurance company, calling for service is always an option. However, when a timely response is desired, the fastest way to secure service would be to request service directly from the tow company of your choosing.
knowing if your insurance company offers reimbursment will help you to recover the out of pocket expense you pay for the tow. Be sure to ask for a copy of the invoice if one is not offered to you. Also, many tow companies will be able to send you a digital copy of the bill which could make it easy to submit it to your insurance provider.
This suggestion is simply an option when choosing what to do in situations where you need someone sooner than later
As always, stay safe.
